Born in Oldenburg, Germany, Martina Lenton received her first piano lessons at the age of 5 in Ibiza, Spain. In 2008 she was admitted to the "Conservatorio Superior de Música de Salamanca" with a double major in Piano with Sophia Hase and Vocal Accompaniment with Javier San Miguel. She finished her studies in 2013 with degrees in both piano and vocal accompaniment.

From 2013 to 2015 she pursued graduate studies with Prof. Burkhard Kehring at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg graduating with a master of music degree in "Liedgestaltung".

She has received several prizes in international competitions, such as "Premi Ciutat de Carlet", "Juventudes Musicales de Sóller", "Gustav Mahler Competitions for Liedduos", among others.

As a soloist, she has performed in Spain, France, Portugal and Germany.

She has had the opportunity to work with many renowned teachers, including Stanislav Pochekin, Daniel del Pino and Alexander Kandelaki. In addition to her formal and private studies she has taken part in a number of masterclasses with Edith Fischer, Julie Kaufmann, Boris Bermann and Aquiles Delle Vigne.

During the 2015/2016 season she worked as repetiteur at the "Conservatório Regional de Ponta Delgada" on the Azores, Portugal. During this time she performed in a number of venues as collaborative pianist, as duo partner with pianist André Costa, and as soloist. Highlighting this time is her performance of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, broadcast on RTP2.
